Film Fund Talk

The Film Fund Talk will introduce leading film funds to producers from all over the world. Panelists who are key decision makers in major film funds will each present the method and range of support offered by the funds, while covering the budget distributed per project. The Film Fund Talk aims to provide practical information to producers who are in need of financing and support for their productions.

The purpose of Aide aux cinémas du monde is to create possibilities of collaboration between foreign filmmakers worldwide and professionals in the French industry, and to facilitate and encourage such associations, in order to coproduce works that promote cultural diversity, and through this, France’s cultural reach and the revival of the country’s artistic creation.


Launched in 2007, the Asian Cinema Fund (ACF) aims to help creative, talented Asian filmmakers realize their artistic vision. Through its four categories – Script Development Fund, Production Support Fund, Post-Production Fund and AND (Asian Network of Documentary) Fund - ACF has supported a total of 356 films including 153 feature films and 203 documentaries.

Aurora Media Holdings

Aurora Media Holdings is a specialty producing company in Singapore focused on accelerating the growth and exploitation of media and entertainment infrastructures and IPs into high-yielding global media assets. We provide financing solutions to content creators by way of equity and interim collateralization as well as tailoring investment and co-production packages for projects and companies.


The Hubert Bals Fund (HBF) of International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) provides financial support to remarkable feature films by innovative and talented filmmakers from Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and parts of Eastern Europe. HBF offers several funding schemes. Filmmakers can apply for support of the development of their fiction feature film projects. With the support of the Creative Europe MEDIA programme of the European Union, production and distribution support are offered to European partners.


Sørfond supports co-productions between filmmakers in developing countries on the DAC-list and Norway. Since the start in 2012, Sørfond has supported 52 film projects – both fiction and documentary. The overall objective of Sørfond is to strengthen film production in developing countries. A Norwegian minority producer is required to apply.

*FVG Audiovisual Fund

The FVG Audiovisual Fund is a regional fund aimed at supporting the development of local film companies and promoting audiovisual works in international markets. The Fund operates in three main sectors: training, development and production. Along with the funding scheme, the Fund has organized several international events such as When East Meets West and Ties That Bind. Since 2012 the Fund is member of CINE-REGIO, the largest network of European regional funds.
